There's snow in them thar hills.

Ok - so the guys were right (don't tell them that I said that). We woke up yesterday morning and there was snow in the higher mountains - Baldy in particular - it was just a dusting though and was gone by afternoon. Baldy is the first mountain to get snow and the last one to have it in late spring. In fact there is a shale rock outcropping that is in the shape of a heart and Todd's Dad always said that you don't want to plant the frost sensitive plants in your garden until the snow has melted out of the heart of Baldy. It's true - the only problem is that today there may not be any snow in the heart - but there could be tomorrow - or next week. So you are just safe waiting awhile. I can see Baldy out of the drive thru window at the bank - it's beautiful anytime of year. If you wanted to look at it now just sign on to www.kpax.com and click on the CAMERA tab and choose Plains Eyecam - it's pretty up to the minute. You can see the heart on the left. The road to my sister, Jacqi's, house goes by the white house there, up the draw and to the left. She lives about 4 miles up - along with my Mom and my niece Kristi and her family (all seperate houses).

Well that is about all the excitement for tonight - if you didn't notice I did get music onto my blog - thank you Lori.
